The Hellenic league was founded in 224 B.C. and included Macedonia, Achaean federation and a number of other Greek states. The article analyses the relations between the allies in III–II centuries B.C. The author concludes that allies states were ready to cooperate within the limits of the league, but ambitions of leaders of Achaean federation led to the treachery of allied interests.
